ATLANTA – September 20, 2018 – VOW | New World of Bridal® returns to AmericasMart® for its fall staging with a stellar product mix, stunning fashion presentations and education offerings promising non-stop discoveries and excitement Tuesday, September 25 – Thursday, September 27, 2018.
Presented by Atlanta Apparel at AmericasMart, the semi-annual Bridal Market consistently delivers palpable anticipation and expectation for all that is new and next in fashion innovation, notes Mary Sullivan, senior vice president of Leasing. “From the breathtaking runway show, engaging events and amazing style introductions to the passion of the bridal retailers, the energy of this Market is like nowhere else,” Sullivan adds.
Bridal buyers will find an inspirational presentation of bridal style, complete with the industry’s must-have lines. Allie Blu, Amelia Couture, FLAIR, Karishma Creations, Sweetie’s Shoe Collections and SCALA debut new showrooms for the Market. Amy Holton Designs, Fernando Wong Couture, Jessica Angel and Stefanie Somers expand their AmericasMart footprints and Johnathan Kayne, Morrell Maxie, Nicole Bakti, Nox Anabel and Ritzee Designs relocate their spaces. New-to-Atlanta lines showing at the Market include Ada James Bridal by Patrice Catan, Amarra, Anne of Coventry, Bridal Live, Brightz, Callista Bride, Camilyn Beth, Colby John, Creations Georgianni, Dany Tabet, Desiree Hartsock, HALOTOPIA, Isabella Talya, JCH Couture, Laine Berry, Lis Castella, Marc Defang and Simply Charming.
International lines are poised to showcase global style across the spectrum of VOW collections. Exhibiting lines include Dany Tabet of Lebanon, Dovita Bridal of Turkey, Eddy K of Italy, Iryna Kotapska of Ukraine, Lis Simon of Canada, Loré of England, Modeca of the Netherlands, Pia Michi of England, Roz la Kelin of Australia, Saboroma of Turkey and Tarik Ediz of Turkey.
“I am excited to see how the VOW Market in Atlanta is growing,” says Steve Lang, CEO of Mon Cheri Bridals who, in addition to showcasing its successful Mon Cheri lines, launches its Ariana Vara line featuring the Princesa Quinceañera collection, Ariana Vara Bridal Collection and First Communion gowns at the Market. VOW’s signature education series starts on Monday, September 24, the day before the showrooms and temporaries open, with the pre-Market seminar series and welcome happy hour. Meredith Bullock, director of development for Do You Speak Bride?, opens the series with “Pre-Market Education Workshop Series: Keys to Inventory Management” followed by Do You Speak Bride? Founder Wendy Rivera presenting “Pre-Market Education Workshop Series: Creating Margins that Change Your Profitability.” The acclaimed VOW Experts Panel, moderated by Rivera, features a new group of bridal thought leaders including Amanda Cover of Bombshell Bridal in St. Clair Shores, Mich.; Courtney Wetzel of Blush Bridal & Formal with three locations in Maine; Krysta York of Charlotte's Weddings in Portland, Ore.; and Lacey Williams of Elizabeth Johns Bridal Couture in Morristown, N.J.
Morning keynotes kick off on Tuesday, September 25 with Desiree Siegfried of Desiree Hartsock Bridal sharing a refreshing approach on how to cater to Millennial brides with tactical takeaways in “VOW Breakfast & Education Series: Styling & Marketing to Sell to the Millennial Bride.” Rivera returns to the atrium stage with “VOW Breakfast & Education Series: Win the Crowd & You Win Your Freedom” on Wednesday, September 26. Seasoned bridal experts Patrice Catan and the designer for JCH Couture share their knowledge on how to be productive in selling gowns off the rack in “VOW Breakfast & Education Series: Off the Rack” on Thursday, September 27.
The highlight of the VOW Market is the celebrated VOW Fashion Show on Tuesday, September 25. The must-see fashion showcase features trend-setting looks for the whole bridal party.
